How to fix it
- 1Export products from Shopify with Variant SKU and inventory quantity.
- 2Prepare your warehouse or supplier file with matching SKU and quantity columns.
- 3Use the free compare tool to list quantity mismatches and missing SKUs.
- 4Upload the corrected file to Import Ready, bulk-edit quantities, and export for Admin.
Before you re-upload
- SKUs match exactly (trim spaces, consistent case)
- You compare the same location or warehouse scope
- Inventory tracker is shopify for tracked variants
- Policy is deny unless you intentionally allow overselling
