Add a row
Insert a new product line when something is missing from the uploaded file.
Add a row when a product or record exists in your catalog but was missing from the original upload.
When to add a row
Common scenarios:
- A new SKU was omitted from the supplier file
- You discovered a missing product while reviewing validation issues
- You need a placeholder row to satisfy related data requirements
Add a line
- Open Review data in import preview.
- Click Actions → Add line.
A new empty row appears in the grid, typically at the top or bottom depending on your view. The row starts with default empty values.
Fill in the new row
Click each cell in the new row and enter values the same way as Edit rows:
- Required fields must be filled or validation errors will appear
- Use dropdown columns where available for consistent values
- Add an image URL if your import type includes product images
Validation on new rows
New rows are validated like any other row. Errors and warnings appear immediately if required fields are missing or values are invalid.
Use the Validation issues panel to confirm the new row passes all checks.
Save the new row
Added rows exist only locally until you save:
- Complete all required fields.
- Click Save changes in the unsaved changes bar.
- Confirm save and wait for validation to refresh.
After saving, the new row is part of your import and included in exports and the final import.
Tip: Add rows before bulk editing if the new lines need the same value as existing rows — then include them in your bulk selection.
